Challenging your Thinking

Hello Kingdom Teens,

My name is Kentia and I am so happy that you are joining me this week. In this weeks post, I will be talking about the word of God challenging our thinking. This is based on the scripture, Romans 12:2 (New Century Version) Do not be shaped by this world; instead be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. The only way we are to know what God wants and to change our mindset is by reading the word of God. I would challenge you to meditate on the word of God.

What is meditating on the word of God and why should I do it? According to Joshua 1:8 (New International Bible), Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. This scripture tells us that when we meditate on the word of God we will be aware of choosing good from bad and it will make us succeed in life. This is awesome news for us. If we follow the word of God, we are guaranteed to have success.

So I am challenging you today, beautiful teens, to find a scripture daily and go over it continuously until you have it memorized. Everyday, choose a different scripture and repeat the steps above. I will start you off with a scripture, Mark 12:30 (New King James Version) And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

Join me on next Monday to discuss more topics. Let me know what you want to talk about. Have an awesome and prosperous week. God bless!!!
